Introducing food systems into MSD (training pre-symposium @MSS2022)

What is the food system? How is it different from the food environment? What does any of it have to do with market systems?

In this training, food systems experts from ACDI/VOCA will guide participants through understanding the food system and the ways in which integrating food systems approaches can be transformational for both market systems as well as communities and consumers.

With an eye to cross-cutting issues of environmental sustainability and gender inclusion, this training will offer actionable, evidence-based guidance on capturing the full benefits that food systems integration offers market systems development, while avoiding common pitfalls.
