This full time position will lead the economic component of a new USAID-funded biodiversity conservation project in central Vietnam.
The advisor will work closely with leading conservation NGOs including WWF, Fauna and Flora International and IUCN to create increased income for forest-dependent communities and to divert illegal hunters and loggers into alternative employment through improved vocational skills and job placement services.
Additional Information
The position is based in family-friendly and safe Hanoi, Vietnam. Interventions will include agriculture/NTFP, ecotourism, and vocational education and employment in rural areas.
