Strategic Opportunity Analysis & Framework Design

USAID/DRC seeks to shift its Feed the Future investments towards market-sustained partnerships with private sector actors, to carry out the integrated vision established in its Country Development Cooperation Strategies (CDCS).

This subcontract will enable USAID/DRC’s Feed the Future funding to increase focus on market linkages with a vision to leverage the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance’s (BHA’s) Resilience Food Security Activities (RFSAs) and other livelihoods investments more effectively, including USAID and other non-USAID initiatives in the agriculture sector.

The work is broken into two tasks:

1. An analysis meant to guide the USAID DRC Mission's agricultural portfolio
2. Designing a framework to help the Mission better incorporate MSD thinking
