Technical Adviser for Sustainable Agriculture

Nurul Siddiquee is a technical adviser for sustainable agriculture within CARE’s global food security and nutrition team. He has over twelve years of research and development experience in international non-profit organisations, including designing and implementing pro poor market innovations, and WEE and agriculture development programmes in South-East Asia, and East and West Africa. Siddiquee is trained on community based microfinance, markets and livelihoods and social enterprise. 

Siddiquee's sector experience lies in value chains of agricultural commodities, agricultural inputs, livestocks, nuts and oil crops. His technical expertise includes sector and market opportunity analysis, strategising, designing, implementing and monitoring scalable market interventions in partnership with the private sector. His managerial experience includes leading and coaching large-scale implementation teams and private sector partners with the aim of embedding attitudes and skills required to sustain and bring to scale market development initiatives.
