Lynley Mannell

Lynley is a market systems development expert with over 10 years of experience developing businesses and managing programs in an international, developing country context. She is highly skilled in the design, implementation, support, and growth of programs and SMEs. She has an exceptional understanding of contextual constraints and partnership engineering with a propensity for strategic, customized solutions as exhibited in her work across 10 countries. She has acquired international experiences through her work in North America, East Africa, Australasia, and Southeast Asia. Her work in East Africa, in particular, has included setting up and managing international offices initiated to develop businesses and the private sector. She founded three businesses in Rwanda with an international client base, as well as coaching others to develop businesses within donor-funded programs, incubators, and accelerators. She was a former shareholder and country manager in an impact investment company focused on making investments in East Africa and is on the board of several growing businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa. Lynley currently leads a team of rural finance specialists in Indonesia, working on expanding the scope of agriculture financial services with partner financial institutions and focusing on value change finance to help increase the income of smallholder farmer households. She has a background in international business with an MBA and MSc in Project Management.
