Abosede Paul-Obameso
Abosede is a public policy expert and management consultant with 14 years hands on experience. She currently leads the Advocacy Organisations component of the DFID ENABLE2 Economic Growth Program. Abosede adopts a transformational and facilitative approach to market systems development, empowering advocacy organisations to embrace current developments in advocacy and public private dialogue, resulting in an improved legal, policy and regulatory environment for business.
Abosede’s work has supported MSMEs in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Solid Minerals & Trade. Abosede has contributed significantly to helping ENABLE2 realise its goals, impact and successes from Abosede’s work in this field have been validated and are being replicated. Abosede has also provided high-quality strategic and technical support to programs in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Sierra Leone on business environment reform.
Prior to joining ENABLE, Abosede worked in Management Consulting with KPMG Professional services where she provided business and strategy advisory services to clients cutting across the public and private sectors. At KPMG she honed her skills in Business Process Development; Strategic Planning; Institutional Strengthening and Transformation. Abosede served on the Technical Committee reviewing Emoluments in the Nigerian public sector. At KPMG, Abosede gained significant Business Development experience developing bids across sectors. Responsibilities included leading the technical drafting of bids, reviewing and quality assurance functions.
Abosede also currently sits on the Advisory Board of HADIS (Habiba Dangana Foundation). HADIS is a nongovernmental organization focused on creating opportunities to advance gender and social inclusion. In Kaduna State Nigeria, HADIS works with groups of young people to provide farmlands, technical knowledge and access to finance. In her role on the Advisory Board, Abosede leads the resource mobilization and fundraising committee.
