Emma Pethybridge

I run a for-purpose consulting agency (Ethical Republic) that specialises in working with Indigenous people and local communities who live in and around protected areas to develop sustainable and inclusive livelihoods through conservation enterprises. My experience extends to supporting development of the following types of commercial use: Eco-tourism and nature-based recreation; Arts + cultural products and experiences; Payment for ecosystem services and carbon farming; Small-scale harvesting, agroforestry, sustainable cultivation and high-welfare livestock grazing; Bioprospecting and conservation research services; Invasive species surveillance and anti-poaching squads. I have a Masters degree in International Urban + Environmental Management and post-graduate qualifications in business management and public policy.
