Gituku Ngene is a strategy, innovation and learning specialist focusing on fostering innovation to empower vulnerable communities in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. He currently works at the nexus of technology and youth employment and serves as the Senior Global Advisor for Jobtech at Mercy Corps. He has worked extensively with impact investors, social enterprises, corporates, and development organizations to design and scale innovative solutions to socio-economic challenges in developing and frontier markets. He previously worked with Dalberg Advisors where he consulted for multinationals, governments, NGOs, foundations, and multi-lateral institutions on business and growth strategy, business and social innovation, research, and the design and launch of new partnerships and initiatives. His experience spans multiple sectors including agribusiness, financial inclusion, MSMEs and entrepreneurship, education, and public-private partnerships.
