Jim Tanburn is Coordinator of the Donor Committee for Enterprise Development. While with DCED, Jim has also been engaged in many other related activities, such as organising the first peer learning event on M4P in 2013.

Before DCED, Jim led the writing of guiding principles for donors on stimulating service markets, while working for ILO in Geneva; he also organised a decade of annual conferences on systemic approaches in PSD, attended by over 1,000 people from 110 countries. He started and ran an NGO working in enterprise development, and worked for several years in the oil industry (exploration and marketing).
