Dear colleagues,

FEWS NET has a number of resources for market monitoring tools and resources.

You are welcome to see our price data collection best practices form in the link below (this sheet was prepared for Nigeria, but we have similar sheets for other countries if that is useful):

Several of our other guidance documents and reports can be found here:

Please let us know if you would like to discuss further.

Best regards,

Dear Stephanie,
There are some good resources on market monitoring in the Red Cross
Movement Cash in Emergencies toolkit Refer to slide
number 42-44 on the attached presentation, they've got some good info.
Also, on the same cash in emergencies toolkit Module 5.3 you will get a
roadmap (see attached) on how to monitor markets.
Hope you find these information useful.
Kind regards,

Hi there,
Does anyone know of any good videos, e-learning courses, or other useful training resources on Market Monitoring?

Apart from the MarkIT tool, I'm not sure what else is out there, and am pulling together some training resources on this - I have found LOADS of stuff on Monitoring CTP, and on Market Assessment and Analysis, but can't find much out there specifically on market monitoring.

Many thanks
