The intersection between private sector engagement (PSE) and humanitarian assistance (HA) is a subject of burgeoning discussions among development practitioners. To further understand this topic, USAID’s Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance funded the Pulte Institute for Global Development’s expansion of the PSE Evidence Gap Map (EGM) through the LASER PULSE Consortium. With the expansion of the EGM with documents related to HA and PSE, the EGM now offers practitioners interested in this topic an avenue to explore the most recent literature on the intersection of humanitarian and private sector interests.

Join us as we:

- learn about the genesis and current functionalities of the EGM;
- explore the findings on PSE evidence gaps in the HA literature;
- learn about the use of the EGM; and
- discuss the presentation of findings from soon-to-be published briefs.
