Hi Louisa, Please find the attached report developed by the NCA in collaboration with the Pakistan Climate Centre. The report underscores the impact of climate change on local livelihoods. (Attachment Report-CCALivelihood.pdf is missing)

Thanks for this Louisa! The lit review looks useful for something I am working on right now...

Hi MiC community, As a humanitarian practitioner, I often struggle to know where to look for good research and evidence on issues I was working on (so many Google rabbit holes...). My latest obsession is about the impact of climate on livelihoods and if/how market-based approaches should support, but a lot of the research doesn't include crisis-affected places. Since going independent in 2020, I've had the pleasure of working in the [BASIC research programme](https://www.ids.ac.uk/programme-and-centre/better-assistance-in-crises-basic-research/) hosted at the Institute for Development Studies. The programme is all about understanding how social assistance (including types of market-based programming) responds to complex crises across humanitarian and development programming. Need a good [literature review](https://www.ids.ac.uk/publications/climate-resilience-and-social-assistance-in-fragile-and-conflict-affected-settings/) on the use of cash-based assistance in fragile & conflict affected places? Or want to learn more about [climate-related disasters in Pakistan](https://www.ids.ac.uk/opinions/how-has-social-assistance-responded-to-climate-related-disasters-in-pakistan/), and how humanitarian and development assistance linked up to respond? The researchers and practitioners with BASIC come from many contexts and are also very approachable if you are looking to collaborate on research. Happy reading!
