This research aims to generate information on gender perspectives in the development, maintenance and use of piped water and electricity infrastructure. 

The information that is collected will assist the Investing in Infrastructure programme (3i) to develop appropriate measures and indicators for monitoring programme activities. 

Research findings will also be used to ensure alignment with the Do No Harm principle and find opportunities to improve the status of women in the target sectors.
