Draft progress report and implementing plan for two programmes:

  • Australia Indonesia Partnership for Promoting Rural Income through Support for Markets in Agriculture (AIP-PRISMA)
  • Australia Indonesia Partnership for Strengthening Agricultural Finance in Rural Areas (AIP-SAFIRA)

The report assesses the progress of these two programmes from the AIP-Rural portfolio against key indicators for the second half of 2017.

The Australia-Indonesia Partnership (AIP-Rural) aims to increase the agricultural incomes of smallholder farmers by stimulating greater private and public sector investments that create better access for farmers to inputs and markets.

Intervention description

PRISMA works with private and public sectors to help spur growth in select value chains by reducing constraints and barriers to farmer productivity.

SAFIRA focuses on agricultural value chain financing to expand smallholder farmers' access to finance.

Evidence methodology

The report is prepared using information from:

  • programme staff
  • documents relevant to the intervention
