The Niger Delta Partnership Initiative (NDPI) and the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND) aim to reduce poverty by acting as a catalyst for systemic change in the Niger Delta. 

Intervention description

The core programme areas are:

  • Economic development, includes aquaculture, cassava and palm oil sub sectors
  • Peacebuilding and enabling environment development

This report presents findings of progress assessment in the first five years of NDPI’s work. 

Evidence methodology

The review applied a holistic evaluation of impact. It used a multi-disciplinary approach that combined traditional evaluation methods with emerging best practices to design and implement innovative methodologies and tools. This included:

  • qualitative and quantitative outcomes metrics
  • “proof points”
  • case studies
