Livelihoods Improvement for Women and Youth (LIWAY) is a nine year programme (2017 - 2026) focused on sustainable poverty reduction and social stability through improved livelihoods in Addis Ababa. 

This brief outlines the programme's approach and focus systems. 

The programme specifically aims to increase incomes of 257,000 poor people, including at least 128,500 women and 192,750 youth, through increased access to wage and self-employment opportunities.
