Uganda's Agricultural Inputs (Ag Inputs) Activity was a five-year USAID / Uganda-funded programme to promote the responsible use of agricultural inputs in Feed the Future target districts.
The objectives were to increase the use of high-quality agricultural inputs in Uganda through increased availability of high-quality inputs to farmers, and to decrease the prevalence of counterfeit agricultural inputs. The Activity focused on increasing the availability of quality seed, plant protection products, fertilizers, and equipment.
While the Activity made significant strides in the agro-inputs sector, challenges remain to be addressed by permanent market actors.
This final report details the achievements and recommendations.
