RLDP improved the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in the Central Corridor of Tanzania.

It did so by creating increased income and employment opportunities and catalysing market system changes along different value chains - mainly sunflower, cotton, rice, dairy and poultry - and addressing different services and crosscutting issues.

Intervention description

This brief presents the most important quantitative achievements over the total lifespan of RLDP. For example, outreach, increases in household income and agricultural productivity, and the ratio cost-benefit.

Evidence methodology

The report does not explain how the evidence was produced. However, the data is abundant and the analysis is coherent and cogent. Most data was produced by the team´s own monitoring processes.
