PEPZ was designed to strengthen and build the capacity of Zambia’s private sector to create jobs and contribute to the diversification of the economy.
The programme had four components:
- Supplier linkage component
- Business development services component
- Nationwide business plan competition
- Impact investment fund
This report presents the main achievements of PEPZ and identifies lessons learnt for improved DFID programming and programme implementation.
