Independent mid-term review of AMENCA 3, a five-year programme to connect Palestinian farmers to markets.

The programme commits to a range of measures designed to foster stronger partnerships for economic growth and thereby contributes to greater market linkages, as well as stronger relationships for stability and security of the region.

The programme started using an MSD approach which evolved into a 'hybrid' MSD approach in recognition of the unique and complex economic and social conditions that exist in the Palestinian Territories.

Intervention description

Mid-term review of the third phase of AMENCA. It is intended to inform immediate decisions regarding the future of AMENCA 3, and so will have implications for DFAT, its NGO partners, and its advisers.

Evidence methodology

The review was guided by seven questions covering all aspects for the programme. Data was collected through phone interviews, a desk review and in-country fieldwork and consultation with key stakeholders.
