Through a series of studies conducted in East Java, Indonesia, PRISMA discovered that youth involvement can lead to improved resilience and sustainability in the agricultural market. The thirst for technology, combined with their willingness to take up innovations are recommended entry points for businesses.

With impacts from climate change, alterations to land usage and an aging farmer population, this brief highlights the importance of youth to building resilient agricultural markets.

It also builds on PRISMA's Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) strategy, which aims to go beyond gender inclusion.
