From risks to rewards: overcoming the impacts of climate change on women in agricultural supply chains

In the run up to the UK hosting COP26, the FCDO's Work and Opportunities for Women (WOW) programme began to look more closely at the intersection between climate change and gender.

This resulted in WOW supporting three bespoke research partnerships in sectors that rely significantly on women’s labour: Primark in Pakistan, Waitrose in Kenya and the Ethical Tea Partnership in Kenya and Malawi.

This report aims to consolidate the findings from the three studies and help inform future programme activities that companies with agricultural supply chains might be exploring in partnership with other stakeholders.
