This report for the period of Jaunary - December 2021, the third year of implementation of a five-year programme.
WIN seeks to increase women’s economic empowerment (WEE) in Mozambique by identifying, catalysing and scaling-up systemic solutions that benefit low-income women, using an MSD approach.
WIN reports a successful 2021, reaching most of its impact targets.
The programme:
- exceeded its impact targets for women empowered in Mozambique (18,251)
- consolidated impactful partnerships across all of its market systems
- increased its engagement with the private sector
It has also developed a solid learning and research agenda intended to help the private sector become more gender-inclusive and support other MSD/NGO
practitioners in designing WEE-focused MSD programmes.
