MSD programmes work with market actors (private and public sector) to design and test ways to improve the functioning of a market for the benefit of a specific target group – in this case, low-income women.

The selection of the right partner is therefore very important and often quite challenging, especially in an under-developed market such as Mozambique.

The guide was created to help other MSD programmes to select the right partners to make market changes systemic, and work for low-income women.
