This case study is part of RECONOMY's inception phase in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and North Macedonia focused on developing an inclusive green economy.

In North Macedonia it looks at waste management and facilitates the design and implementation of a pilot intervention called ' Eco-innovation and economic opportunties through waste management' with partners, REDI Recycling.

Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia are undergoing an energy transition. These regions have a great deal of potential for renewable energy and improving energy efficiency, but lack the awareness, skills and training. RECONOMY facilitated the design and implementation of a pilot intervention called 'Energy transition for income and employment'. It's objectives are to promote the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency for sustainable development and to raise the awareness of civil society and decision-makers of the potential of renewable energy and efficient use of energy.
