This is the third version of the investment manual, superseding version 2. It is written for the new ALCP2 programme that began in May 2022.
It is a key programme document for use by programmatic and operational staff as a guideline for decision making, implementation and monitoring of ALCP activities.
The manual is the formal written document that details the methodology, criteria, processes and operational procedures attendant in carrying out the investment process of the ALCP from pre application to monitoring and evaluation including: client selection criteria, the application process, investment plan development, procurement, investment disbursement and the monitoring and evaluation of the investments.
Version 3 includes a new chapter on facilitation - common sense and good practice - looking at what makes the difference between a successful or failed intervention.
