A quick one-page guide with seven tips for facilitation:

  • Ownership: work through local/permanent partners only
  • Strings always attached: build in incentives for actors to perform and own the change
  • Low ‐ or no ‐ visibility: the more decisions the actors get to make, the better
  • Have clear and agreed-on expectations
  • Work with influence points and early adopters/innovators
  • Make your offer clear and specific
  • There is no right way to do facilitation, but there is a wrong way.
