This session, at the BEAM Conference 2016, brought together challenge fund experts to debate whether challenge funds are the best and only way to (really) engage the private sector effectively or not. Through this debate, the session covered lessons learned, innovative practices and how they can be used in extreme contexts. The speakers also discussed typical problems in implementing challenge funds and ways to increase their potential to achieving long term, sustainable change.
