This tool was created to support market systems programmes plan their day to day activities.

Engineers Without Borders (EWB) found that staff on programmes that were transitioning from a service delivery programme to a market systems approach were finding it difficult to plan activities based on the programme's goal ('we want X change to occur in the market').

This tool was designed to help staff. It balances prescription with flexibility. It includes a list of actions a facilitator can take and a review of the McKinsey & Company Influence Model which outlines the four components to any change management initiative.
