The aim of this assessment tool is to analyse a whole agricultural system, including its interconnections and interdependencies.
The tool also provides a general pathway, based on behaviours, of how functions would change as the system becomes more competitive, inclusive and resilient (for example, how enabling functions may look differently over time).
The tool is aimed at all practitioners but may be challenging for those less well versed in the world of systems thinking. It has been used widely in a range of contexts.
