Kevin Conroy

Kevin is a business environment development practitioner. Following a career in risk analysis and research, Kevin transitioned into development after working on security and transparency projects in Afghanistan and other conflict zones. Working in Northern Nigeria since 2012, Kevin has applied market systems approaches to private sector development across multiple programmes. His passion is to deliver tangible and sustainable results for businesses facing systemic constraints, often navigating through markets systems perverted by conflict, corruption and reliance on donor delivery.   
 
As Team Leader for Enhancing Nigerian Advocacy for Better Business Environment (ENABLE 2), Kevin works with his team to catalyse change in MDAs, advocacy organisations, media houses, and research providers to drive reform of the business environment in northern Nigeria. Through improving system actors capacity and performance, the quality, quantity and inclusiveness of dialogue on business environment issues improves. This dialogue in turn drives more inclusive and responsive reforms which will impact positively on the lives and livelihoods of the poor and women.
