I am currently working for CABI as Public Private Partnerships Manager. My work involves: developing and managing CABI's Public Private Partnerships (PPP) strategy and portfolio; researching, developing and managing significant new Public-Private Partnerships; developing CABI's global private sector strategy; researching, establishing and managing new partnerships with private sector companies both at the corporate and program levels; and conceptualising and implementing strategies and work processes to significantly grow CABI’s PPP and Private Sector portfolio globally. ​ Previously, I worked for Oxfam as Private Sector Adviser (Livelihoods, Women Empowerment and ICTs). My work involved: leading Oxfam's participation in mNutrition, including management of a 5-member team; leading Oxfam's work on the use of ICTs for Women's Economic Empowerment and Care (WE-Care), including design, implementation and analysis of a Randomised Control Trial; developing innovative and strategic projects and programs that use ICTs to deliver information and financial services to smallholder farmers; establishing and managing new partnerships with private sector companies across the ICT and agriculture sectors; and developing strategy around private sector engagement. I am a development economist by training. I graduated in Business and Economic Administration and hold a Masters degree in Globalisation and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS).
