The Innovation for Agribusiness (InovAgro) is a pro-poor, private sector development project funded by SDC. It supports smallholder farmers in Northern Mozambique to increase their household incomes through their effective participation in agribusiness value chains.

Intervention description

The review analyses InnovAgro’s work, mid-way through Phase II, in five value chains:

  • soya
  • pigeon pea
  • groundnuts
  • sesame
  • maize

Evidence methodology

The review relies on:

  • desk research of programme documents
  • field visits to programme partners
  • information from interviews with partners, stakeholders and program staff
