The report presents a set of quantitative analyses to highlight the potential role commercial forestry can play in addressing Kenya’s existing wood supply deficit, alleviating pressure on natural forests, and supporting Kenya’s Vision 2030 and Green Growth objectives.
It provides recommendations for the development of a new Forest Policy and legislative framework, and to inform government, private sector, and development partner interventions.
