MDF is Australia’s flagship private sector development programme in the Indo-Pacific region. Through the MSD approach it is making innovative efforts to engage the private sector in the promotion of inclusive growth and poverty reduction for women and men.

It works in South Asia and the Pacific regions, namely, in Fiji, Sri Lanka, Timor Leste, Papua New Guinea and Pakistan.

Intervention description

Insight into MDF’s performance across all MDF countries (Fiji, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka and Timor-Leste) between January and December 2018. It provides information on results from all active interventions over the past year.

Evidence methodology

A combination of surveys, interviews and consultations with key stakeholders, case studies, and government studies and statistics.

This programme's results measurement system passed an audit against the DCED standard.
